MOTS-C

MOTS-C is a mitochondrial-derived peptide encoded by the mitochondrial genome, studied for its role in metabolic regulation, insulin sensitivity, and exercise adaptation. It is one of a small class of peptides that originates from mitochondrial DNA rather than nuclear DNA.

Research protocol: Cycle-based — 6-week active research cycles. Not for continuous use.
