KPV

KPV is a tripeptide derived from the C-terminal sequence of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH), studied for its anti-inflammatory and gut-protective properties. Research focuses on its potential role in inflammatory bowel conditions and systemic immune modulation.

Note: KPV was removed from the FDA Category 2 bulk drug substances list in April 2026 — a favorable regulatory development for its continued research availability.
